Modern Slavery statement
ORGANISATION
This statement applies to NexGenOps Ltd (referred to in this statement as ‘the Organisation’). The information included in this statement refers to the financial year 2024–2025.
ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE
NexGenOps Ltd is a single legal entity operating primarily within the United Kingdom, with its head office located in Manchester. The Organisation does not have any subsidiaries or legally registered entities outside the UK. A portion of our workforce operates under approved hybrid or home-working contracts.
The Organisation provides technology consulting, cloud operations support, IT infrastructure management, and digital transformation services to a range of clients across different industries. Our services often involve supporting clients in the adoption of cloud platforms, DevOps methodologies, automation technologies, and managed IT solutions.
All labour engaged by NexGenOps to fulfil its services is sourced and utilised within the United Kingdom, unless a specific client requirement necessitates on‑site work in another location.
DEFINITIONS
NexGenOps considers that modern slavery includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Human trafficking
- Forced, bonded, or compulsory labour
- Being controlled through physical or psychological abuse
- Being treated as a commodity or property
- Restrictions placed on freedom of movement
COMMITMENT
The Organisation acknowledges its responsibilities regarding the prevention of modern slavery and commits to full compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We understand that this commitment requires continuous review of both internal employment practices and our supply chain relationships.
NexGenOps does not engage with any business, in the UK or internationally, that is known to support or engage in slavery, servitude, or forced labour practices.
All labour used by the Organisation is obtained through transparent, lawful channels, and NexGenOps strictly adheres to the minimum standards required by UK employment law, including fair pay, safe working conditions, and voluntary employment practices.
SUPPLY CHAINS
Our supply chains include providers of:
- IT hardware and software
- Cloud service platforms
- Recruitment agencies and specialist technical staffing partners
- Professional services and outsourced support functions
These suppliers form an essential part of our operations and undergo appropriate checks to ensure ethical and fair practices.
POTENTIAL EXPOSURE
As a professional services organisation with most work delivered domestically by skilled employees, NexGenOps considers its exposure to the risks of modern slavery to be low. Nevertheless, we maintain vigilance and conduct necessary checks to ensure that modern slavery risks do not exist within our operations or supply chain.
STEPS
NexGenOps carries out due diligence processes to confirm that slavery and/or human trafficking do not take place within our Organisation or any of our suppliers. These include:
- Reviewing supplier controls relating to modern slavery compliance
- Ensuring that contractual arrangements allow termination if a supplier is suspected of involvement in modern slavery
- Conducting periodic updates and checks on recruitment partners and external service providers
To date, the Organisation has no knowledge of having conducted business with any organisation found to be involved in modern slavery practices.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
To ensure the ongoing effectiveness of our approach, NexGenOps measures:
- Supplier Contract Compliance – All supplier contracts must include a clause allowing termination if the supplier is found to be involved in modern slavery.
- Supplier Review Frequency – Annual review of all critical suppliers to confirm ongoing compliance.
- Training Completion Rate – Percentage of staff completing modern‑slavery awareness training.

TRAINING
NexGenOps provides training and guidance to relevant staff, particularly those involved in procurement, recruitment, and supplier management, to ensure they understand the risks and indicators of modern slavery.
SLAVERY COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITY
The Organisation has appointed a Slavery Compliance Officer, currently A. Roberts, Director of Operations, who is responsible for overseeing compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015. All concerns relating to potential modern slavery issues should be directed to this individual, who will take appropriate action.
